I fed it in the winter time a couple of years agone when it got actually cold and the dogs gained weight on it quickly. Practiced Friends dog food is fabricated by Nutreena. When I compared the ingredients of the River Run 30 twenty to the ingredients of Adept Friends 30 20 they were identical.
Same feed only in a unlike bag. Some of the Practiced Friends brand canis familiaris food is identical to the River Run, some identical to Nutreena's Loyall brand, and some mixes are specific to the Practiced Friends make but all are made by Nutreena and put in a Adept Friends bag for Rural King to accept their own brand of dog food. I've fed the Adept Friends grain gratis, the 30 20 and also a couple of the other mixes to some of dogs at dissimilar times with decent to good results.

With that said I accept switched all of my dogs dorsum to The Pride Pro Series blends of feed.

hard

to shell the price.. I mixed some in with the maintenance alloy I have fed this summertime and they went right afterwards it. I have been mixing 27 /10 with some 18 /6 to limit fat and keep em slim. Guessing I wind upwards at almost 22 /8 or so with the mix. But information technology is going to be hunting season before long and then I'm also mixing in the 30 /20 and will go direct 30 /20 when this mix runs out.. Thanks for all the comments so far proceed em coming...

The Good Friends grain gratis is equally good as Diamond and costs a little less per pound. I believe it'due south amend than the Valu Pak grain free merely it costs just a little more per pound. Biggest matter is that if somebody had a Rural King in their area they are usually open up afterwards and on weekends so it'southward easier to finish and get when needed. That's one of the biggest reasons I fed their feed for awhile.

I practise feed the River Run 30/20 and have for several years. I pay about $27 including tax for fifty lb. at the feed manufacturing plant l drive by every twenty-four hour period. In the summer l am able to cut them downward drastically in the cold months fifty feed them nearly v cups a day. I feel l get a pretty good bang for the buck.

Why do dogs need thirty% protein now when all that they used to go was 21%? 10 years ago 21% was "loftier protein" domestic dog food and dogs did just every bit skillful on it. Why do dogs today need 30% protein?
Purina has supposedly done all of the inquiry then they are making 28-thirty% poly peptide dog feed. But they are however making and selling 21% Canis familiaris Chow as well. If dogs all of a sudden need xxx% poly peptide in their feed and then why is Purina withal selling 21% Domestic dog Chow?

Difference......

Still feeding it.Still similar results.

Don't have a lot of bad Cancer causing chemicals 'most' dog food has, that people don't realize or merely don't care?

Cheap

Dogs look keen on information technology.

Not much more clean upwards than over rated 'grain gratis' .....unless you over feed.

Practiced friends thirty/20

Ive Been feeding pro programme sport xxx/xx
And pro plan puppy to my brood bitches after day 30 of pregnancy and to my pups
ane. Its very expensive
2. Im not impressed - dogs who aren t raising pups seem to benefit on information technology but nothing I havent seen other feeds do .

My biggest concern with switching to a CHEAP dog feeds is that I generally discover worse dental health within a few months - thinking itsouthward from the college corn load .? We lost a bang-up hound to oral cancer at historic period 6 so subsequently that I started worrying quite a fleck more nearly it - ( Dont know if anyone remembers Play tricks Magic) He did win the ACHA world chase winning half-dozen consecutive casts and was also granded at xv months old . He was a great reproducer and had a center of pure gilt

My question is has anyone fed this Good friends 30/20 long enough to notice long term results ? Id honey to relieve the money if I tin.

I've used good friends for well over a year now and it works great for my hounds they have shiny coats and are in good shape. Just switch to the lower protien in the summer like you would on whatsoever other dog feed works keen and I recommend it.

Been

a while since I started this thread.. I got good results from the GF's xxx/20.. I did still switch to 4 Health Salmon and Potato because our gyp has allergy issues with her peel.. It has helped but non eliminated it.... I would rather feed the 30/20 but it is not possible for now...

Wayne, Rural Rex sells Loyall and I recollect they have a Salmon and Potato blend. The Loyall blends are also sold in a Good Friends bag got a couple dollars less, both made by Nutreena. Loyall is supposed to be their premium blend. Every bit you know the 30/20 River Run and the 30/20 Skillful Friends are the same feed made past Nutreena only in different bags. I was told all of Good Friend dog nutrient blends are fabricated past Nutreena and I take fed different blends without any problems.
